Candidate Statement:

Renee Jordan is a 2005 graduate of Campbell University, The Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law. Renee earned an undergraduate degree from Canisius College, graduating with majors in both International Relations and Spanish.

Since graduating from Law School in 2005, Renee has represented thousands of clients with their felony, misdemeanor, and traffic matters in multiple counties in North Carolina.

Importance of this Race:

Republicans have been packing our judicial system for years and trampling on individual rights and fair application of justice. We need to elect good, strong, and fair-minded Democrats to the Superior Courts to protect our civil and individual rights.

Office Responsibilities:

  • North Carolina District Courts hear cases involving civil, criminal, juvenile, and magistrate matters.
  • District Courts are divided into 43 districts across the state and sit in the county seat of each county.
  • They may also preside in certain other cities and towns specifically authorized by the General Assembly and are on the front line of justice for the citizens of NC.
