Mark Stevens was born and raised in Raleigh. He attended Wake County public schools. Mark graduated from Denison University and North Carolina Central School of Law (Cum Laude). He and his family live in East Raleigh.
Importance of this Race:
We need to elect good, strong, and fair-minded jurists to our District Courts to protect our civil and individual rights.
Office Responsibilities:
North Carolina District Courts hear cases involving civil, criminal, juvenile, and magistrate matters.
District Courts are divided into 43 districts across the state and sit in the county seat of each county.
They may also preside in certain other cities and towns specifically authorized by the General Assembly and are on the front line of justice for the citizens of NC.
