This November we must deliver our state for President Obama, elect a new Governor, and win seats for Democrats in Congress, the General Assembly, in our county boards, and in our courtrooms. Only you can make it happen! And we take the next step next week.
Our featured speaker will be Jeremy Bird, National Field Director for Organizing for America.
Jeremy has organized for Howard Dean and President Obama, for equality in education, for labor rights, and he is currently organizing for America.
On Tuesday, he'll be organizing for us!
You will do three important things:
First, you will organize your precinct.
Second, you will elect delegates from your precinct to attend the County Convention in April as the first step on the road to the 2012 Democratic National Convention in Charlotte!
Third, you will adopt resolutions for consideration by the delegates at the County Convention.
We will do three important things:
First, we will provide you with more information on the delegation selection process for getting to Charlotte.
Second, we will provide you with more information on what's at stake in the upcoming election.
Third, we will give you directions on how to help us win in 2012.
Plus you will meet statewide & locally elected officials and candidates.
Let's get this county organized, fired up and ready to go!
