May 11, 2009 Monthly Meeting

The Wake Democratic Mens Club (WDMC) will hold its regular dinner meeting on Monday, May 11, 2009 at the Clarion Hotel, 320 Hillsborough St., Raleigh, one block west of Goodwin House.

Registration starts at 6 PM, and a plated dinner is served at 6:30 PM. The cost of the sit-down dinner is $16 for members, first-time guests, and those not eligible for Club membership, $20 for non-members. All registered Wake County voters are eligible for Club membership. Please note the change in the cost of the meal for non-members.

Program
Our guest speaker will be Dr. Stephen C. Scott, President of Wake Technical Community College. Dr. Scott will discuss the various ways Wake Tech is meeting the current economic crisis. Time-permitting, a Q&A session will follow.

We will also be electing officers for the upcoming year. All guests are welcome to attend, but if you are a member, please make every effort to attend and vote for your new officers.
