Common Cause North Carolina invites you to join us on November 17th as we celebrate our democracy. The day begins with two great workshops- one dealing with young voter views of our democracy and another looking at the role of money in politics. An awards luncheon with keynote speaker Congressman Walter Jones, Jr. will follow.

*Feature workshop- SHOULD NC ALLOW PUBLIC FINANCING FOR LOCAL ELECTIONS?

Start: 10:00 am

In 2006, our campaign contacted over 10,000 voters right at their doorstep. In 2008, our goal is 25,000 voters. We need to canvass early and often to persuade swing voters to vote for Ed Ridpath and energize Democrats to come out and vote for all the Democrats.

Training and pairing up with experienced canvassers is provided for new volunteers.

Other Democratic Candidates are welcome to join us and provide literature.

Join a real grassroots effort that will make a difference in 2008!
